FlyPro (“FlyPro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an AI-powered travel technology platform serving both individual travellers and travel agencies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the FlyPro mobile application, the Agent Office platform at ag-office.flypro.io, or our website at flypro.io.
We operate as two legal entities that jointly control your data: FlyPro Technologies LLC, a US company registered in Austin, Texas, and Intelligent FlyPro Limited (RC 9486280), a Nigerian entity. By using our services you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account & Identity: Name, email address, phone number, profile photo, date of birth, nationality, and passport details submitted during registration or KYC verification.
- Travel Documents: Passport scans, visa copies, and other travel documentation you upload for visa eligibility checks or agent-assisted applications.
- Booking & Payment: Booking details, transaction IDs, payment method metadata (we do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by certified payment processors).
- Travel Preferences: Interests, dietary restrictions, activity preferences, and budget ranges you set in-app to personalise recommendations.
- Communications: Messages sent to our support team or through in-app chat.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages and features visited, search queries, tap/click events, session duration, and feature engagement patterns.
- Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system, app version, IP address, browser type, and crash reports.
- Location Data: Approximate location (country/city) derived from IP address to detect your jurisdiction and serve relevant visa rules. Precise GPS location is only used if you explicitly grant permission.
- Cookies & Tracking Technologies: Session cookies, analytics pixels, and similar technologies described in our Cookie section below.
Agent Platform Data (Travel Agencies)
If you use the FlyPro Agent Office, we additionally collect: business name, business registration details, agent credentials, client portfolio information you enter on behalf of your clients, invoice and commission data, and website customisation settings. As a data processor acting on your instructions for client data, you remain the data controller for your clients' personal information.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the FlyPro traveller app and Agent Office platform.
- Run AI-powered visa eligibility checks, itinerary generation, and travel recommendations via AVA, our travel assistant.
- Process bookings and payments for flights, hotels, experiences, eSIMs, and other services through our partners (Amadeus, Viator, My-Transfer, Nuitee, Tickitto, Airalo, CCRA).
- Verify your identity through KYC processes as required by applicable regulations and our compliance frameworks.
- Build and maintain your travel history portfolio to support future visa applications.
- Send transactional emails, booking confirmations, and (with your consent) marketing communications.
- Improve our AI models and platform features using aggregated, anonymised usage data.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations under US, Nigerian, EU, and other applicable laws.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & NDPR)
Where EU GDPR or Nigerian NDPR applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the services you signed up for.
- Legitimate Interests: Fraud prevention, security, platform improvement, and direct marketing to existing users.
- Consent: Marketing emails, precise location, and optional analytics — you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal Obligation: KYC/AML checks and regulatory reporting obligations.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- Service Partners: We share necessary booking and payment data with Amadeus, Viator, My-Transfer, Nuitee, Tickitto, Airalo, and CCRA to fulfil your bookings.
- Visa Processing Agents: If you request agent-assisted visa processing, relevant travel documents are shared with the assigned agent.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: We use AWS and other reputable cloud providers who process data under strict data processing agreements.
- Analytics Providers: Aggregated, anonymised usage data is shared with analytics tools. No personally identifiable data is sent without your consent.
- Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of FlyPro and its users.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under the same privacy protections.
International Data Transfers
FlyPro operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, Nigeria, or other countries where our servers or partners are located. For transfers from the EU/EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards. Nigerian users' data is handled in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion we retain certain records for up to 7 years to comply with tax, financial, and anti-money-laundering regulations. Travel history, visa records, and KYC documents are kept for a minimum of 5 years as required by applicable law. You may request earlier deletion for data not subject to a legal retention obligation.

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate our website and app, and optional analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie banner on our website or your device settings. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your data (right to be forgotten), subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restrict or Object to certain processing activities.
- Data Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw Consent for any processing based on consent.
- Lodge a Complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security
FlyPro maintains a security programme aligned with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards. Measures include: TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, regular penetration testing, and continuous security monitoring. Despite these controls no system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when the most recent changes were made. Your continued use of FlyPro after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
